Mike Hawthorn

Born in Manchester and raised in Wilmslow, Cheshire,  I enjoyed both maths and art at school, but opted for a career in the relatively new world of computing.  Thus, I put down my brushes and pencils and took to the keyboard to earn some money.  Having enjoyed working in Central Manchester for 8 years I was drawn to the Metropolis.  Here I met my wife eventually setting up our family home in South Bucks.

In 2015, with the children having flown the nest, we moved west into an old house overlooking the Wiltshire Downs.  Having more time now for my own pursuits I have, once again, taken up art.
