"Having seen Mike’s excellent work for the commissioning of HMS FORTH I was keen to see if he might be able to capture the 3 warships I have been privileged enough to Command.  He did so perfectly with the Rock of Gibraltar as a backdrop.  He also completed a superb painting of HMS LIVERPOOL in South Georgia – I was the Captain at that time.  Mike’s son was also on board as a member of the Ship’s Company – it was so good I had to have it.  It reminds me of a particularly happy time on board in a stunning part of the world.  Mike has a real talent to bring such a setting to life".
